In an indigenous-futuristic performance, Solar Threshold combines contemporary dance with ritual chants, reggaeton, and perreo to create a decolonial dance practice. Carried by the vibration of her voice, Maque Pereyra attempts to reconcile the differences and intersections of seemingly contradictory rhythms and movements. The stage becomes a spiritual field of experimentation where conventional notions of sexuality and sensuality are made to burst. Tanztage 2020
